OMG, OMG, OMG
Mom finally got around to doing my surgery today. My hips are 100% ok again and I can stand up straight, SO happy. I was scared, as anyone would be when they have surgery, but it did not hurt at all and I am so much better now. I didn't even realize that time passed. I was asleep the entire time.
Then Mom asked me if I wanted to change my hair color. I went for it. I now have an Auburn color. It looks very pretty with my blue eyes if I say so myself. I keep staring at myself. I am in love with it.
Andy cried when he looked at me, he kept saying through the tears that he wanted my blonde hair back. I love that silly guy. He is cute, and he loves me the best. He and I sit together alot and he does wrap my hair in his fingers and twirl it, so I guess he did have a thing for it. I'll go blonde again eventually. I am thinking this is a good warmer fall/winter look.
Anyhow, no photos of the new look until tomorrow because Mom said that it will be even nicer in natural light and it was dark dark dark until we finished it. I can not wait for tomorrow when we go take my picture! I am not going to wear anything that will outshine my cool new do, so just my favorite blue jeans and a white shirt. I am keeping is simple. My hair is going to be the Shining star in the photos.
Ok enough about my hair, lol. Kendall is up and around from his surgeries. I'll see if he will let me take his photo tomorrow. (I have such cute brothers!) Kendall and I are the same age, but we are not twins, since we were both adopted. We both have blue eyes, and he is currently blonde.
Want to hear something silly? People think that Ryan and Avery are twins all the time and Ryan is 3 1/2 years older. Ryan is only just slightly taller though. He is short for his age and Avery is super tall for his age so they meet in the middle. Ryan gets very angry.
So the rest of my day, Mom and I looked at maps after I did my school work, because the Cub Scouts are doing a canned food drive so we had to make up maps and routes for the teams. We spent alot of time with a highlighter, coloring the routes in. Mom has some more to do but the highlighters needed a break. She has until Sunday to get it finished and I will help her too. I really like to help my mom with stuff.
We spent some time reading other peoples blogs today too. (well mom and I do that every day) I look forward to new updates from other dolls like me. I don't travel like many of them do, I just live with me new family and do everyday things, like schoolwork. I hope to visit my cousins Madi, Molly and Emma... (Madi and Emma are people, Molly is the doll.) They have a little (people) brother Jake too. I want to play with Molly. I think she will be more fun than Katie.
When the boys went to be Kendall went up with them, Andy snuck back down to watch more tv with me when Avery was not paying attention, and Katie is upstairs. I bet you can guess what she is doing, reading her kindle and listening to music. She needs a life. I am pretty attached to Mom though, so I like to be with her. I am so happy to have a new family, especially one who loves me enough to pick me. That is the cool thing, four of us are adopted and we are loved and chosen.
Mom's other two patients are nearly ready to find new homes. Sami still needs a hairstyle. Then she is going up for adoption. Kendall's twin brother will be with us until we can visit his new mom Bella. She is going to love him though, Equally as cute as Kendall.
Mom needs her computer she had some email she needs to write.
Later guys!
Shameless Christmas list plug:
Here is a photo of some bracelets mom made. I love them. I am hinting here for Christmas, mom. (You don't have to sell them all in the Etsy shop do you? Please!)
