Happy Friday

Today the boys were home from school in honor of Veteran's day. Wow, did they ever get crazy! I think I like it better when they go to school.

Mom made some more jewelry today, and she needs to take photo's of that plus some earrings she did not complete from the other day. Hopefully the weather tomorrow will co-operate and we can have a photo shoot and then off to edit and list.

I like the modeling part. Mom makes me look pretty. She did my hair today for tomorrow. It is super cute. I have this french braided crossover ponytail do. It was windy the other day when she took my photo's so this will help with the hair blowing around in the breeze problem. I love some of the stuff mom came up with today.

Mom has branched out a bit. She sculpted some mugs that are my size so if the baking process goes well, a new item. Here's hoping that works out.

Well it is late for little dolls. I have to get going.

Veteran's Day from an American Girl

Everyone in the United States of America (dolls and people too) needs to pause on November 11, and remember all the fallen that have served this country, protected us, and lost their lives for us. Thank a Veteran, or a solider. While we have fallen on some hard time this year, can you imagine how much worse they  could be without the freedom we all take for granted.
Say a prayer for our country if that fits your lifestyle. Reflect on the meaning of the holiday. Show respect, and honor to the flag and all who defend what it stands for. Sing a patriotic song. Display your flag. Show your pride.

I might be a 9 year old doll, but I was born in China as we all are and hey I love being an American Girl. I am proud of my title.

I will be spending Veteran's day with my family. Peace & love to you and yours.  Thanks Veterans and NAVY, ARMY, AF, MARINES for without you where would we be?
