Wow it's almost here

December flew by. It seems like it was just Thanksgiving. I am so looking forward to Christmas with my new family.

We have been a busy bunch. Mom made the boy's a set of bunk beds. It is so cool. I like to hang out on them as well. There is going to be an upcoming blog post about them in January and I will share the link to them.

I have been busy as well.I am learning to knit. I hope I can get the boys some blanket's finished before Christmas. I have half of one done and I did all of it in one day, so it might happen. I am making super soft fuzzy blankets. I hope the boys like them.

This is a short post, I need to finish the blankets  and time is a ticking, so I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy Kwanzaa.

This Christmas

Sorry that I have not posted much lately. I have been hanging out with Sam until she gets adopted. We've been watching Christmas specials and eating tons of popcorn and having so much fun.  I am really giong to miss her when she goes to her new home. She is so much more fun to hang around with than Katie. Kendal and Andy are fine, but sometimes a girl needs a girl to hang with.

I hope everyone has been on their best behavior, Santa is watching... speaking of which,  I think that mom is going to call Santa and report my human brother Ryan because he is not doing his homework. My mom text messages the elves when the 2 human brothers act up. She never has to report the doll kids, we behave. I think we are so happy to not be all beat up and in good will it helps us with our behavior. You can't list your people kids on Ebay or Etsy, but us doll kids can have happen, and when you are happy you need to show it by behaving.
(I still have nightmares about Goodwill...and the smell...and once again I have to say that I am greatful for the love and the repairs. Thanks Mom!)

We have the outsde decorated, Dad put up his little village and our doll kid tree is decorated, but the big tree is not up yet. I guess Mom and Dad will work on that this week. Mom doesn't like to rush into it. We leave the tree up until Russian Christmas is over. Russian Christmas is on January 7th. Our tree will not be touched until January 8th at the earliest. Mom's ancestors were of Russian Orthodox desent, so my Mom was raised to observe the Russian holiday as well. This means at our home we leave all the decorations up after New Years, and we don't light the outside until January7, and that night we light it all again. We don't do any more gifts, this is a more spiritual observance than a commerical one.

I am looking forward to my first christmas with my new family. I hope we have a great one.

Saying Goodbye to Sam

Well it is time to get ready to say good-bye to one of the foster kids. I hope Sam finds a family who will love her like mine does. Mom has her looking pretty and she is going to be a great friend to a new human, I just know it. I will miss her. Andy thinks that she is his twin, and I know he will be heart broken when she leaves.

Well she is up for adoption on etsy right now and we spent some time together this weekend.

Here is to you Sam, hope you end up happy where ever you go.
